It is no secret that we, human beings, have constantly been seeking an improved and intelligent. Since the existence of human life on the planet Earth, the quest has never ceased. Sadly, we have not reached any inclusive conclusion. Our forefathers have constantly been seeking intelligent life. Beyond any stretch of the imagination, they have not thrived.
Today, we are living in a technology-driven and advanced world. Human labor is nowhere to be seen as highly advanced artificial intelligence (AI) carries out our day-to-day tasks. In a nutshell, everything is at our convenience as technology continues to advance every passing day. But, despite that all, our quest for an intelligent life never ceases.

In the 21st century, life is full of opportunities and is very easy compared to the old days. Back then, everything was away from the reach of common men. Communication, for example, was a hard thing before the invention of telecommunication. In those days, our ancestors would walk on foot for millions of miles only to provide a piece of information. Today, in contrast, the world has become a global village where a piece of information spreads across the world in a matter of seconds.
Nevertheless, this ‘convenience’ has not yet answered the fundamental question: Are we alone? Turns out that we do not know entirely whether or not we are alone. Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, is talking about going to Mars. And other scientists rely on the argument that life beyond the planet Earth could be much more efficient. Consequently, we look forward to these ‘other’ planets - anticipating that life could be more intelligent beyond the planet Earth.

Thus, today we are just a tiny part of a fast-growing world. An era where technology flourishes and makes life much more sustainable and convenient. Given that, one may wonder why bother thinking about other habitats beyond the planet Earth.
Distant Drums Sound Well
The old goers used to say that distant drums sound well. What they meant is something phenomenal. They meant that we should be happy with our current condition and enjoy life as it is.

Perhaps our forefathers came to the conclusion that there is potentially nothing beyond our current condition. That is why they believed that living the current life to the fullest is the ultimate objective. Whether or not they walked their talk is an unsolved mystery for us.
Today, the quest continues. In the fast-paced world of technology, modern man is alone. Though the world has become a global village, the sense of loneliness continues. Peep deep inside a modern man, and you will pity him, knowing that he is lonely deep inside. Perhaps this quest for so-called “intelligent” is what makes us human.
